Samuele Barzaghi was born in Milan, Italy. He graduated from Teatro alla Scala in 2019 and joined the Joffrey Ballet Studio Company in Chicago for the 2020/2021 season.
Since then, he has performed with prestigious companies such as the Paris Opera Ballet, Royal Danish Ballet, English National Ballet, Tokyo Ballet, and Teatro di San Carlo. Samuele has danced some of the most renowned ballets in world-class theateres.
His repertoire includes Nureyev’s Don Quixote and La Bayadere, In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated by William Forsythe, La Stravaganza by Angelin Preljocaj, This Season’s Canon by Crystal Pite, The Dante Project by Wayne McGregor, Ballet Imperial by George Balanchine, A Midsummer Night’s Dream by John Neumeier, Swan Lake in the Round by Derek Deane and Pierre Lacotte’s last creation Le Rouge et le Noir.
