Miranda Silveira Templer was born in Brazil and grew up in Spain, where she got her ballet training at the Royal Conservatory of Dance in Madrid.
At 17, she joined the San Francisco Ballet, where she performed pieces by Balanchine, Morris, Pita, Scarlett, and Wheeldon, amongst others.
In 2020, Silveira returned to Spain to dance with Compañía Nacional de Danza, and a season later, she joined The Joffrey Ballet as a Company Artist and performed leading roles by Arpino, and Blanc.
She lives in Denmark as an educator at The Royal Danish Ballet School.
Silveira’s current freelance projects include performing leading roles with Svenborg Ballet Theater based in Denmark, dancing with Pathways to Performance in the United States, and starting in 2024, joining the returning London City Ballet.
