Josue Gomez is a Colombian-born dancer who began his training at the age of six at Teatro Municipal in Cali. He then trained for seven years at the Colombian Institute of Ballet INCOLBALLET, before continuing his training at Fort Lauderdale Youth Ballet in the USA. He refined his technique and artistry at San Francisco Ballet School and Elmhurst Ballet School in the UK.

A distinguished competitor, Josue earned multiple Grand Prix titles at the Youth America Grand Prix, along with top honours in classical, contemporary, and pas de deux at the Universal Ballet Competition, American Dance Competition, and Miami International Dance Competition. From this he secured scholarships to some of the world’s most prestigious ballet schools.

At just 17, he began his professional career with Birmingham Royal Ballet. In 2023 and 2024 Josue performed as a guest dancer with English National Ballet . He has graced international stages and galas, including YAGP’s Stars of Today Meet the Stars of Tomorrow, YAGP Mexico Gala, the Miami International Ballet Festival, and many others.

Josue Gomez has embodied principal roles in Le Corsaire, The Nutcracker, Grand Pas Classique, Flames of Paris, Paquita, Giselle, La Bayadère, Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty, and many more.

His professional repertoire includes Derek Deane’s Swan Lake, Sir David Bintley’s Cinderella, Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s Romeo and Juliet and Ballade, Christopher Wheeldon’s Cinderella, Sir Peter Wright’s Nutcracker, and Carlos Acosta’s Don Quixote.

Now, Josue Gomez eagerly steps into a new chapter with the acclaimed London City Ballet, ready to share his passion and artistry with audiences worldwide.
