Career Masterclass

Sunday 10 November, 10am – 3pm

This one day workshop is designed for current dance students and recent graduates who want to explore in greater detail the preparation needed for dance company auditions.

In this session, led by Christopher Marney and Kate Lyons we will cover advice on CV’s, showreels and applications, we will learn two neo-classical solos, suitable for auditions as well as a 90-minute ballet class, feedback and a Q&A session.

The workshop is perfect for those about to embark upon auditions or for recent graduates who want further advice and guidance on the audition process.

10-11:30 Ballet Class with Kate & Chris

11:40-12:30 Solo repertoire 1 with Chris

12:30-1pm Talk on companies, auditions, CV’s & Show reels & applications

1 -1:30 Lunch

1:30-2:30 Solo repertoire 2 with Kate

2:30-3pm Feedback, Next steps, Q&A

This event is tailored for dance students (16+) and recent graduates who are interested in learning more about London City Ballet.

In this session, hosted by Artistic Director Christopher Marney, we will dicuss the companies plans, auditions and ways to engage with us, creating a forum for career advice. There will be an opportunity to ask questions about London City Ballet, chat with like-minded individuals and learn more about our process.
