IN 2022 ARTHUR PARTICIPATED IN THE YOUTH AMERICA GRAND PRIX, WHERE HE WON FIRST PLACE. THIS ENABLED HIM TO JOIN THE NRW JUNIOR BALLET DORTMUND, IN GERMANY, WHERE HE STARTED HIS PROFESSIONAL CAREER, DANCING INSPIRING WORK BY A VARIETY OF CLASSICAL AND CONTEMPORARY CHOREOGRAPHERS.

He began dancing ballet in 2017 at the CEFART Palácio das artes in Belo Horizonte, but began to dedicate himself professionally when he entered the ATM Centro Cultural de Danças. Here he had greater support and opportunities for improving and advancing his physical training.Shortly after, he began to participate in competitions, attaining first place and special prizes, leading him to compete in one of the largest dance festivals in Brazil, the Joinville Dance Festival in 2021. Here he was awarded best dancer of the Festival.

He has danced in the Nutcracker with Ballet Ireland and at the Svendborg Ballet where he performed works by August Bournonville and in Christopher Marney’s ‘War Letters’

In London City Ballet’s first season Arthur was named in DanceEurope’s critics choice for ‘New Name to Watch’ 2024. He danced in the revival of Kenneth MacMillan’s Ballade, played the Serpent in Marney’s Eve, Larina Waltz by Ashley Page, Consolations & Liebestraum by Liam Scarlett and created a role in ‘Five Dances’ by Arielle Smith.
