Isadora Bless was born in Richmond, Virginia and began at age 11 with Richmond Ballet, where she remained a student until she became a trainee at age 16. One year later she participated in the Dutch National Summer Intensive and earned a traineeship with European School of Ballet.
In 2019, she joined Joffrey Ballet Academy of Dance as a trainee and continued there until 2021 when she was promoted to the studio company. She danced there until 2023. She then joined Orlando Ballet as an apprentice for the 2023-2024 season. As a student she performed the leading role in Raymonda and Mercedes in Don Quixote.
Her professional experience includes George Balanchine’s Serenade and Mozartiana, Christopher Wheeldon’s The Nutcracker; Corps de Ballet in Yuri Possokhov’s Don Quixote and many others with Joffrey Ballet and Orlando Ballet.
She is very excited to partake in this new chapter of London City Ballet.
