Tatyana Meijer grew up in London, Canada, beginning her ballet training at the Victoria Carter London Dance Centre. At age 14, she was awarded the Marijan Bayer Award by the Society of Classical Ballet before continuing her training at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School.
In 2022, she joined the European School of Ballet in Amsterdam, under the direction of Jean-Yves Esquerre and Olivier Wecxsteen. There, she worked with a wide range of internationally renowned teachers and choreographers, developing both her classical and neoclassical repertoire, including styles and works of August Bournonville, George Balanchine, Marius Petipa, Kenneth MacMillan, Frederick Ashton, Maurice Béjart, William Forsythe, Jiří Kylián, and David Dawson, among others.
In 2025, she had the opportunity to perform with the corps de ballet of Semperoper Ballett in Aaron Watkin’s The Nutcracker.
She now steps into her professional career with London City Ballet, eager to explore and share her artistic voice on stage.
