MASTERCLASS SERIES
Three unique workshops taking place each month to kick start 2026, with Christopher Marney (Artistic Director of London City Ballet), Alina Cojocaru (Guest Artist) and Lynne Charles (Director of English National Ballet School).
This one-day workshop is designed for professional dancers, current dance students and those who want to expand their experience of learning neo-classical choreography.
A 90-minute ballet class will be followed by two solo’s from this and next season’s repertoire, taught and coached by London City Ballet’s Artistic Director Christopher Marney.
The workshop is perfect for experiencing new repertoire, practicing the art of learning choreographic phrases at an audition as well as meeting and working with new dancers and artistic staff outside of your usual setting.

Sunday 22 February – Artistry Through Intention (10 – 2pm)
Designed for dancers intrigued by process who want to learn from Alina herself, talk first-hand about her experiences and receive repertoire coaching from some of Alina’s favourite roles.
A 90-minute ballet class will be taught by Christopher Marney (Artistic Director of London City Ballet) followed by two hours of coaching and discussion with Alina Cojocaru (Giest Artist of London City Ballet), ending with a Q&A session.
The workshop is perfect for experiencing a different type of learning, one through artistry and creativity in performance.

Talking Feet with 4Pointe with Lynne Charles – Sunday 29th March
Sunday 29 March – Talking Feet with 4Pointe (10 – 2pm)
For dancers who want to train specifically en pointe and experience the acclaimed 4Pointe method from the founder of its technique, Lynne Charles (Director of English National Ballet School).
A ballet & pointe class will be taught followed by solo coaching where tools to utilise the 4Pointe method will be incorporated to articulate the work. Company repertoire will then be taught by Chris Marney ending in a Q&A seasion.
The workshop is designed for experiencing a different type of pointe work coaching for those interested in expanding their skill en pointe and offering new techniques to take into rehearsal and performance.
