With a background in dance and language studies, Joseph worked in China as Assistant Tour Manager/Interpreter for BalletBoyz first tour in China (Life; 2018) and then for Sister’s Grimm (Inala: A Zulu Ballet, 2019), overseeing touring performances in 6 different Chinese cities. He also engaged in touring projects at Shanghai International Dance Centre, working with Scottish Dance Theatre and The Norwegian National Ballet. Since returning to London in 2020, he has assisted with translation in production projects for China House Arts.
After completing his Master of Arts degree in China Studies at SOAS (University of London School of Oriental and African Studies), he is overjoyed to be touring China once again and to be part of a dynamic and exciting new company and project.
